Thank you, Sydney.
We recently hosted our first Sydney event with huge success; a phenomenal ticket sell out event within 6 hours from our mailing list, without a public release.
We were delighted to host an event that saw a full house event of 40 bloggers, vloggers and social media gurus come together on Sunday 18th October, 2015 at the Cambridge Hotel Sydney who kindly provided us use of their function rooms.
Several brands were in attendance who jumped at the chance to meet with the bloggers, vloggers and social media gurus in which they did a short presentation as well as set up display tables to get more personal with the bloggers. Major shout outs to: Jura, Enbacci, Elucent Skincare, Williams Pro Makeup, Social Order, RosehipPLUS, Natura Siberica, Weleda, KFit, Elements Bioactiv, Kryolan Australia and NYX Australia.
Special mention also goes out to our contributing brands who gifted items to the bloggers in a take home goodie bag: Jeanswest, In2Tea, Jeds & Co, Sofi Spritz, Essence of Jasmine, Natural Secrets, Maybelline NY, Sea Siren Cosmetics, Dove, L’Oreal Professional, Matrix, Boots Laboratories, Philosophy, Blinc, Faby Australia, Rimmel London, Plunketts, OVI Hydration, Eye of Horus, Innoxa, Furless Cosmetics, Laque Lift, Valencia Bath Treats and Waxaway.
Here is what some of the bloggers, vloggers and social media gurus had to say about Bloggers United AU:
“As if all the above presentations, networking and product sampling were not enough, at the end of the day all the brands present, as well as brands who’d been unable to make it on the day, gifted us with generous goodie bags of products. Thank you so much to all the brands and PRs involved!” Read Ingrid’s post here.
“It was amazing to see it all come together and to see everyone having such a great time!” Read Rachel’s post here.
“Words cannot describe just how excited (and nervous) I was for this day! I had been counting down and talking about it for months and when the day finally came, I almost couldn’t handle it!” Read Caz’s post here.
Sarah from Face of SJW @faceofsjw
“Every person I spoke to couldn’t stop talking about how much they were enjoying the day, everyone was mingling and networking so well, I met so many people that previously had only existed in an online capacity, and made new friends that I may not have discovered otherwise! The day was such a feel good event and everyone left with a smile…” Read Sarah’s post here.
